The watch went into effect at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday and lasts until midnight.
The watch comes after a Tornado Warning expired at 4:45 p.m. in Northern Westchester after a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado crossed over the Hudson River from Pomona in Rockland County to Peekskill.
The chance for showers and thunderstorms lasts through midnight.
